Burndown to July 31st in full swing!

At the beginning of this year, the Development Team committed to a July 31st goal. On that date, we want EnvisionConnect to include enough functionality to allow 90% of the Envision agencies to begin migrating to EnvisionConnect. We are so close to making that goal that everyone is on the edge of their seats.

In the last 30 days, we've had stomach bugs, employee turnover, and we've had to assist the largest county in the United States migrate to EnvisionConnect. These challenges have endangered our schedule, but the team is still determined to win.

Between now and the last day of this sprint, I will post our Sprint Burn-down Chart daily—allowing everyone to track our progress in real-time until we reach the finish line.

capacityIf you are not familiar with the chart, the dotted lines are projections. The orange dotted line is nearly constant from day to day. It represents our capacity—when the tasks will finish if we work the maximum overtime allowed by California law. The green dotted line is our projected finish based on current progress and the current average of the hours worked. The dark black line denotes what actually happened.

I think you will find it interesting to compare today's chart with tomorrow's. We will continue in this vein until we reach our finish line on July 31st!
