California environment health regulators tackle global threat

global-warmingThe San Jose Mercury News reported this morning that Santa Cruz has joined the cities of Berkeley and San Francisco in creating new positions for global warming experts in their environmental health departments. Other California agencies are expected to follow soon.

It may be just a matter of time before CTO Darryl Booth and his crew are called to prototype an EnvisionConnect "Managing Global Warming" workflow. I doubt we will have any idea what such a workflow might look like until these agencies have defined specific tasks for these new positions. However, Time Magazine has made some suggestions in it's Global Warming Survival Guide.
