Decade Software's Development Team runs like a fine clock

Decade Software's Development Team has come a long way in a few years.

Through truth, trust, and transparency we built a solid team, and with the help of Scrum, teamwork, and much overtime, we delivered the bulk of EnvisionConnect's required functionality in record time.

Today, leaders from within the workflow teams have taken over as ScrumMasters and overtime is now the exception rather than the rule. Everything is running like clockwork—And for me, that may be unfortunate.

clockworkMy team has became so efficient that I had very little left to do these, and then—as you might imagine—others started finding more work for me to do.

In addition to employee evaluations, daily one on ones with staff, supporting the leadership team's goals and objectives, and continuing to guide my department's Scrum process through our weekly Scrum of Scrums, I am also upgrading and maintaining EnvisionConnect's Configuration Wizard and it's new and improved User-defined Fields Editor—and I am using cutting-edge technologies to build all-new installations for the various flavors of EnvisionConnect.

...so let this be a lesson to those out there considering building an efficient team.

Scrum and Team-building through Trust can—and will—get everything working like the finest clockwork and free up more of your time—but rest-assured there will always be someone waiting to bring you more broken clocks.
