Joe Healey says "Lead with integrity, and people will follow."

radicalIn his new book, Radical Trust: How Today's Great Leaders Convert People to Partners, Joe Healey says there are four competencies to be mastered in order to become a great leader.

Those are:

  • What you do (Execution)
  • Who you are (Character)
  • What you say (Communication)
  • How you make your team feel (Loyalty)

I'm still reading this one, but I wanted to say that—thus far—this is the best book I've found regarding the use of integrity to lead. Unlike most books on leadership, this one spends less time spouting theory and more time telling you how to fix the problems.

I highly recommend it.
