Presentation tomorrow at California State University in Fresno

Tomorrow morning, I will be speaking to a group of software professionals at California State University. PTeams_Slide The Regional Jobs Initiative's software cluster—over 40 Fresno software companies—has invited me to speak regarding my team's successes at Decade Software Company.

Allyson Robison's official announcement reads:

"Our next Software Partnership meeting is scheduled for Thursday, November 8, 8 to 9:30 a.m. at the Central Valley Business Incubator (1630 E. Shaw Ave., Suite 163, Fresno).  The topic of this month's meeting is agile development.  HL Arledge from Decade Software will join us to speak on Creating and Nurturing Perpetual Teams: How Decade Software Company Quadrupled Quantity and Quality in Under Three Years. He will talk about how Decade uses "scrum" in managing the business."

Preparing for the event has been enlightening for me. I have taken time to reflect on just how far we've come—and frankly, I surprised myself. I won't go into the details here, as I do not want to spoil it for tomorrow's attendees. I'll just say that feeling that you've improved is one thing. Actually examining the metrics is an entirely different experience.
